Terms of Service

Welcome to GENSAN.WORK ("Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please stop using the Platform.
1. Who We Are
GENSAN.WORK is a digital professional-identity platform for skilled workers in General Santos City, Philippines. We connect customers looking for skilled services (electrical, plumbing, masonry, etc.) with workers who offer those services. We are an introduction platform only — we do not employ workers, set their prices, supervise their work, or guarantee any outcome.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide accurate registration information (real name, working phone number, real photo).
- Workers offering services must be legally allowed to perform that service in the Philippines (including any required TESDA certifications, PRC licenses, or trade permits).
3. Accounts and Roles
Every account starts as a Customer. You can switch to Worker mode at any time from the Account tab to build a professional profile and accept jobs. Both roles share one account — your phone number is your identity.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information (fake skills, fake reviews, fake portfolio photos).
- Impersonate another person or business.
- Submit forged or stolen identity documents for verification.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Send spam, unsolicited promotional messages, or scams via direct messages.
- Post sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
- Solicit users to move payment off-platform to commit fraud (legitimate off-platform payment is allowed; scams are not).
- Use the Platform for illegal activities or in violation of any Philippine law.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or load-test the Platform without written permission.
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban at our sole discretion. Suspended accounts cannot post reviews, send messages, create posts, or appear in public Discover.
5. Verification Badge
The green ✓ Verified badge means a platform moderator has reviewed a valid government or TESDA ID and a corroborating selfie. It does not certify skill quality, work output, insurance, or business legitimacy. Customers should still review portfolios, ratings, and message directly before booking.
6. Payments and Job Outcomes
GENSAN.WORK does not process payments between customers and workers. Pricing, payment terms (cash, GCash, bank transfer), schedules, and dispute resolution are entirely between the two parties.
We are not responsible for: the quality of work delivered, materials used, damages caused during a job, missed appointments, non-payment, or any contractual dispute. We strongly recommend you discuss expectations, written quotes, and milestones before any work begins.
7. Reviews
Customers can post a public 1–5 star review per worker. Reviews must reflect a real interaction and be honest. Workers may post a single public reply per review. Either party can flag reviews that violate these Terms (fake, defamatory, off-topic). We may remove reviews that clearly violate the rules but we don't arbitrate "he said / she said" disputes.
8. User Content
You own the content you post (photos, posts, comments, reviews, messages). By posting, you grant GENSAN.WORK a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and back up that content for the purpose of operating the Platform. This license ends when you delete the content (except where it must remain for legal or operational reasons, e.g. archived messages in another user's chat history).
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@gensan.work. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, become inactive for an extended period, or pose a security or safety risk to other users.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, GENSAN.WORK disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from malicious code.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GENSAN.WORK and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed PHP 5,000.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GENSAN.WORK from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be resolved by the proper courts of General Santos City, South Cotabato, to the exclusion of any other venue.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
